Asso Villa

We had a day pass, and the pool was a real treat. There was a great buffet with lots of drink choices, and the staff were so kind that they even offered to keep the drinks we brought from outside in their fridge. We finished with pizza, which we really loved, one of the best we've had. It was a while ago and I only just remembered to leave a review, but from the moment we arrived we were welcomed with great hospitality. Definitely give this place a try.

A really relaxing time here. We enjoyed it, everything was good.

My mum had a much-needed break from looking after us, and she really enjoyed herself. That meant a lot to my partner Fred and me. The Villa is also more affordable than the bigger nearby hotels, depending on your needs and the package you choose. I'd happily recommend Asso Villa and hope to return next year. The flowers, plants, and atmosphere were lovely and refreshing. The beach is about 300 yards away on foot, and the food and entertainment were very good. The rooms and surroundings were well cared for by the housekeeping and gardening teams. Radika was especially caring and helpful, and the restaurant waiters, including Emilio and everyone else, were pleasant and professional. We stayed two nights in October 2024 while visiting Mauritius, with my partner and mum. Julio greeted us pleasantly, as did the lovely owners Ashok and Aarti, who went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable.

Andrea and his family run the villa with wonderful hospitality, and they're available to help arrange boat trips or hikes. I can't wait to return. The bathrooms all have Italian style bidets, which was a lovely perk while abroad. Room 105 was huge, clean, furnished with locally made pieces, and had a beautiful view of the forest and sea. We wanted a nature immersed, authentic Mauritian stay and wanted to avoid tourist resorts, so this suited us well. The food was delicious, including Italian pizza, and they were very attentive to dietary preferences. They treated me to excellent vegan food throughout the vacation. Ingredients were very fresh, and the menu changed based on what was available at the market.
