It’s so calm and quiet here, with a stunning view of La Tourelle mountain. The water has an unusual dark green look. It didn’t seem suited for swimming, but it was nice for mooring boats and taking in the scenery. The beautiful surroundings make this a good place to stay if you want peace, natural views, and a break from noise and crowds.
We enjoyed the holiday, but the stay itself was average. There’s nothing to do on site, and we had to drive everywhere. It might be better if you own a boat, though the marina water was quite dirty. A mini ferry service would be useful. Next time I’d probably pick somewhere on the beach.
I can’t recommend this property. While I was out for the day with my group, someone went through my wardrobe and personal belongings. When I got back, about 1000 EUR in cash was missing. The cleaner had left a cleaning cloth inside the wardrobe, so it seemed clear she had no legitimate reason to be going through my clothes or things. I was robbed by the cleaning staff during my stay. This was an unacceptable breach of trust and safety. Guests should be able to feel secure in their rooms without worrying that staff might steal their belongings. Management needs to act immediately. After my experience, I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
It feels outdated and is too far from everything. The planning seems to have left no breeze inside, so it’s very humid 🥵
Watching the sunset from here sounds like a treat. JPH charters set off from the marina for cruises, and there’s an Italian restaurant there with really good food. It’s a lovely spot by the water, with plenty of options to enjoy or visit.
