We didn’t stay in the accommodation, but the cafe and shop are great. The place is peaceful, with tasty food and friendly, efficient staff. The juice was delicious, as were the poached eggs with avocado on sourdough, and the coffees were great too. The shop has lots of lovely, quality food items. Plenty of parking and Wi-Fi as well.

We came as a group of ten and everyone’s food was good. My vegan burger was delicious, and I tried the vegan poke bowl too, which was really tasty. There are a few little shops nearby, including a butcher and a grocer, plus a play area for kids. A really nice spot to visit if you’re in the area.

The staff were so friendly, and the service was excellent. I enjoyed the food, especially the excellent carrot cake. The clothes shop is great too. Definitely stop in and give it a try!

A big thank you to the owners of vanilla for helping my wife and me with our vehicle keys. They drove me somewhere to replace the car key battery, but that turned out not to be the issue. Even during their busy bank holiday lunch service, they found a locksmith, who eventually got my vehicle open. They were very kind and thoughtful.
