We had a really nice stay in this spacious flat, with two bedrooms, a living room and a balcony looking toward the sea. The beds were very comfortable, there was air conditioning in each room, and the owner greeted us warmly and was extremely helpful. On arrival we were given coffee, tea, snacks and fruit, which was a kind touch. The bathroom has a washing machine, and there are two kinds of toaster for making breakfast. The place felt comfortable and had a positive vibe. It was clean enough, though not spotless. There are tiny ants around, as I understand there are in other apartments too, so bring ant powder. They didn't bother us much. The pool is good for kids, the views are lovely, and the birds sing beautifully in the morning. Parking is available under the building. To get to the beach you cross the street, but I didn't find the road noise disturbing. A fruit stall is right outside. Buy from the woman, as her husband's prices are twice hers. Zub Express and other good restaurants are within walking distance. It's good value and a handy starting point for trips around the north, west and east. I'd recommend it.

The apartment is cosy, with a well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine, and it faces the beach. There's a nice pool for both kids and adults, plus a security guard on site at all times and secure parking. Being on the main road makes it easy to find, though there's some traffic noise. Good value for money.

We got decent weather here, unlike the drizzle and strong wind in beaubassin. The apartment was clean and well furnished, with a new large flat-screen TV. Security was present around the clock. Wi-Fi worked in the morning, but sometimes cut out for long stretches. Flic en Flac beach is still interesting, although the water felt a bit cold for swimming. Erosion is narrowing the sand dune, and heavy traffic vibration is also a factor. For food, la marmite mauricienne is a nice lunch or dinner spot about 10 minutes away on foot. I tried a freshly made vegetable roti from aka vinoda's beach stall and wasn't impressed. There's also a busy spar minimarket in the basement of the shopping complex for anything you need.

The pool didn't look very clean. Otherwise, the place was pretty good, with working air conditioning in every room, all the cooking appliances provided, and the beach and nearby restaurants right at hand.

In the centre of town and directly across the road from the beach. The shopping mall and some nice restaurants are only about a five-minute walk away.
