Manisa Hotel

The nicest part of our stay at Marisa Hotel from 11 Nov 2025 to 13 Nov 2025 was the kindness of the waiter, Mrs Amrita, and the receptionist working at checkout. The waiter played a birthday song while serving dessert after I asked him at dinner, and Mrs Amrita was genuinely kind and polite. Their warmth was the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing visit. I had told the receptionist when we arrived around 18:00 that it was my husband's birthday. They couldn't arrange a song because I hadn't told them earlier, and they didn't even wish him at check-in. It felt like a missed chance to show basic care on a meaningful day. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a special occasion. The room also felt poorly maintained, with comfort details missing, and cats roaming around. There was no proper welcome or help with our luggage, and customer service was slow to respond and resolve problems. The location itself was fine, but considering the cost, the stay didn't meet my expectations. We left unhappy, and I wouldn't return. I hope the hotel improves.

The seafront setting is ideal for exploring the island, and there's an Indian restaurant attached to the hotel that serves good food. Staff were courteous and ready to help with anything. Rooms are basic, with a king-size bed, plenty of storage space, a safe, and a good shower room. The free WiFi was weak in the room. Breakfast included continental items as well as eggs, sausage, and beans. The fresh fruit was a highlight, especially the pineapple.

I left feeling refreshed and relaxed after my full body massage at Manisa Hotel. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the treatment helped ease tension all over. The masseuse was attentive, kind, and professional, tailoring the massage to what I needed. Her skill and passion really came through. Thanks for such a lovely experience. I'll definitely return and recommend her.

The room was so well equipped that I didn't need to call reception once for anything. It was also very clean, and the whole place was quiet. Everyone was friendly, and the woman at breakfast was a real asset, a one woman army. I hadn't initially planned to stay here, but wanted to try the difference between a five star and a three star hotel. The pre arrival experience blew me away. Manuela did a wonderful job and went the extra mile to help with my request. The service felt worthy of a five star hotel. Keep it up, and hopefully I'll come back.
