The setting is pleasant, with plenty of greenery and easy access to the beach, lagoon, sea, and restaurants along the shore. It’s a private complex of three- and four-bedroom houses around a modest decorative pool. The houses are well designed and easy to get to, and some are rented as holiday accommodation. It may not suit groups of young teenagers or adults hoping to party.

Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance, and the beach is only seconds away. This is a secure complex with everything you might need for a family stay. I really recommend it.

Having two swimming pools is a nice bonus. Jerry the building manager has done a wonderful job, and the location right on the beach is fantastic. Highly recommended.

The location is the biggest plus: the complex is just across the road from beautiful Flic en flac beach. There’s a boulangerie, pharmacy, and small grocery shop by the main entrance, a supermarket about a five-minute walk away, and a fruit and vegetable stall around seven minutes away. The grounds are well looked after, there’s always someone at the gate, and the villas share two pools. They have different owners, with some rented out and others used as holiday homes. There’s parking right in front of the villa, which was handy. Our villa had a large patio and terrace, and the kitchen and living/dining area seemed to have been updated more recently. The appliances worked well, the beds were comfortable, and there was a large TV you could use with your Netflix or Disney+ account. The Wi-Fi was okay downstairs, but upstairs it was hard to browse. The host and complex manager communicated well. Cleaning was once a week, and rubbish was collected twice a day. The pool in front of our villa was cleaned daily, but we couldn’t use it because the water was too cold for us. We visited in July, when temperatures fell to 13 degrees overnight and barely reached 20-22 during the day. The villa itself could use a thorough scrub and a refresh. Quick sweeps and mopping between guests, along with years of rentals, have taken their toll: there were limestone marks in the bathroom, rust on some metal parts, stained bathroom mats, and mold stains. We emptied the hot water tank when we arrived trying to clean it, but I think it needs professional servicing. Some bedroom furniture was old, and a few window handles were broken. We had only two bath towels per double bed, so we bought face and beach towels ourselves. The pots, pans, and cutlery were heavily used, there were no lids, and some plates and glasses were chipped. Apart from a little dishwashing liquid, a sponge, and toilet paper, the house had no supplies. It feels like costs have been cut, and a few small changes could make the villa much better.
