West Beach Apartment

The apartment balcony was wonderful, and we had a lovely time enjoying the beach and facilities at west beach residence. Such an attentive host, too. There’s a pool as well.

West Beach Residence Apartment 1 may seem fine inside, but my experience with the landlord was really disappointing. For long stays, he asks far more than seems reasonable for the area. His approach felt greedy and focused on money, with little regard for tenants’ comfort or satisfaction. I’d look elsewhere if you want fairer costs and to feel your money and well-being are valued.

We were on the building’s second floor. There are lots of apartments in the same building, with different owners, so that’s worth knowing. Ours had the essentials and was just a five-minute walk from the beach and Zubs Express. A few small things came up, but the owner stayed in touch and worked on resolving them.

I’ve visited over 25 countries and never stayed anywhere this dirty. The towels looked as if they’d been used to wipe the floor and smelled awful, and the bed linens aren’t changed. It felt like a huge disrespect to us as guests and to the country. Why were we treated like rubbish? I don’t know. After I left an AirBnB review, the owner blamed the maid, but the owner is the one responsible. Shame!
