Club Med la Pointe Aux Canonniers

We had a brilliant, activity-filled week at Club Med La Pointe aux Canonniers, with great energy and memories we'll keep. The Ski Nautique team was incredible, always friendly and approachable, and attentive to safety and everyone's needs. The pontoon had a fantastic atmosphere. Huge thanks to Sohail, Asaël, Jerry, and Trichi. Joe at sailing was so welcoming, and Zoe was wonderfully kind and encouraging with the land sports. Thanks as well to Tony, the sports manager, for leading such a great team.

The food was a highlight, from the made-to-order omelets and Mauritian and Indian dishes to the excellent fish every day. I was surprised by how good the beef was too, the steak was tender and perfectly cooked. I'm not usually into French desserts, but the warm pudding each day and the white chocolate mousse were amazing. The bar staff were lovely, and Jason looked after us well. The front desk team was excellent, especially the delightful South African girl. Sawan, our housekeeper, made us a different towel art creation every day. Coming back to our spotless room and seeing it always made us smile. We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the sailing, and Jean Ive and Jack sparrow looked after us. The snorkeling team was great too. Thanks to Joe and Andy for showing us everything there was to see on the reef.

JOE on the sailing team deserves a special mention for his genuine kindness. He made our family trip memorable, and we had a wonderful stay with our two kids. The location is stunning, and the food was absolutely amazing, every meal beat our expectations. The rooms feel outdated for the price and need a revamp. Most of the bar staff were rude and aggressive, and could use serious hospitality training to fit the rest of the resort. It's an amazing spot, but the room quality and bar service need to match the premium price.

The staff made the holiday special. Heena came in to clean our rooms, Girish and Vega helped us at dinner and quickly learned what we all liked to drink, and Jason (SA) and Rakesh at the bar were always smiling and quick to help. Elias (SA), the wine consultant, soon felt like a friend and always checked in. Sajeev took family photos that captured how happy we were and all the special moments from the trip. It was the best holiday our family has ever had. The resort, rooms, food, beaches, and activities were all next level, and every staff member was helpful, kind, and friendly. I'd highly recommend it to everyone I know.
