The team made a real effort to make our stay special, and the beach and setting are gorgeous. We couldn’t try the Lady Lisbeth dinner because of the weather, but this was still an incredible part of our honeymoon. Thanks to everyone at 20° Sud. We’re already recommending it to friends planning a trip to Mauritius. We loved the half-board dinners, which were proper sit-down fine dining rather than a buffet, and the food was delicious. Our room was spotless, and the service felt every bit five-star from the moment we arrived last Thursday. The bar had fabulous drinks and an impressive range of high-end spirits, wines, and cocktails. Every staff member we met was warm, personable, and genuinely kind. There are free shuttles to Grand Baie, and paddle and snorkelling equipment are available to use for free. They also arrange excursions without piling on hidden extra costs like other hotels do.

Check-in was smooth, and the calm, pleasant atmosphere made us feel at ease straight away. The staff were warm, smiling, and inviting, so the welcome left a beautiful first impression and set a lovely tone for our stay.

The spot on the island gets quite windy. Once you leave the hotel for one of the nearby beaches, it’s much calmer. Still, we had a very good stay, especially thanks to the excellent service. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and breakfast and dinner were great.

I only stopped by 20 Degrés Sud Hotel for a coffee meeting, but the setting made quite an impression. The place feels intimate and peaceful, with elegant interiors that are cosy and luxurious. My coffee was excellent, made just right and served with care. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and professional from the moment I arrived, making even a short visit comfortable. The restaurant and other dining options looked inviting, and I’d like to come back for a full meal. If you’re nearby, it’s worth stopping in for coffee or tea and a quiet break. I’d recommend 20 Degrés Sud Hotel for a luxurious, intimate experience, whether you’re visiting briefly or staying longer.
