The sea here is beautiful, and you can walk right out in front of it. The area is lovely, but the building itself is very old, more like a guesthouse, and it doesn't feel worth it. The rooms are very small, with no family table or chairs, and there's little privacy because the next balcony is so close. They've painted with oil paint almost everywhere. Breakfast was very cheap food with nothing to choose from. The pool is nice but small, and I wouldn't recommend it in winter because it's very cold.

The view from the room alone makes this lovely guest house worth a visit, and there's a good supermarket nearby. It's calm and quiet, and the staff are really welcoming. For the price, it's excellent. The rooms are clean and have what you need: towels, soap, kettle, microwave, and fridge. Highly recommend!

The ocean view is astonishing, especially from the rooms right above the water. It's also a good spot for catching your return flight and within walking distance of the Mahebourg waterfront. The place itself is very good, though breakfast may disappoint, and there's no breakfast if you're leaving early in the morning.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in April 2025, and it was truly amazing. The host was awesome, the hospitality was wonderful, and the staff were so friendly. I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

I loved staying here. I ended up in Mauritius by accident after Madagascar refused me entry because my passport was too full. I picked this place at random from the Lonely Planet website. Back then it was really cheap, around $25 for a solo traveler, and I had a beautiful room with two sea-view balconies (!) plus breakfast. I spent a week exploring the island. Mahébourg felt much more authentic and beautiful to me than the resort towns. The owners were lovely, and since it's family-run they were also able to help me with my passport problems. It's been 7 or 8 years, but I still remember it and would love to go back anytime.
