Residence Villas Mont Choisy

This place was run down, poorly maintained, and unhygienic, and it looked nothing like the photos. The apartment hadn't been cleaned properly. There was no safe, the door felt flimsy, and the sheer curtains throughout meant there was no privacy. The WiFi didn't work. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The location is good, and the cleaning staff were friendly, but my five day stay at residence Villas Mont Choisy was a real disappointment. The villa was in very poor condition. WiFi barely worked by the entrance and there was no signal in the bedroom. The shower was cold because the fuse had blown, though I managed to fix it. The pool itself is nice, but the chairs aren't adjustable at the back. After the first night, I told the manager I was leaving after two nights instead of five and asked for a refund for the remaining nights. She first refused, then ignored the request. The photos show what the place looked like.

When we arrived, nobody was there to check us in, so we waited outside in the sun for 15 minutes. A housekeeper eventually came out after we told her we had a reservation and took us to a poorly managed room. The wardrobe was broken, there were no towels, hand wash, soap, or body wash, and the bed was uncomfortable. It was one of the most disgusting places I've stayed. Don't be taken in by the pretty pictures online.

The villa had a peaceful feel and was conveniently close to Mont Choisy Beach. We enjoyed the well kept pool and the petanque court, and a private grilled party is available as a nice option for an evening. The rooms were clean, though the furniture felt dated and the internet could have been stronger. Mosquitoes were an issue around dusk and dawn. The spa looked promising, but we didn't get to try it. It could suit families or couples looking for a quiet break, though some things could use improvement.
