Coconuts

We came back to CocoNuts for a second visit and enjoyed it just as much as the first. The beach is lovely, clean and quiet, and Grand Baie is close by for meals or shopping. The new Lux Hotel is right next door. Our unit had air conditioning and was well equipped, with SUP's and a canoe available too. Housekeeping and laundry were done daily, and beach towels plus basics like tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper were supplied. We had a great time.

The only real frustrations were that the palm trees at Cocoshell got in the way of the ocean view, and getting out by car felt like a nightmare because visibility of traffic was so limited. They also began cleaning before checkout time. Otherwise, the villa was lovely, the kitchen had everything, and the beach was beautiful. The host, gardener and cleaning staff were all very friendly. I have nothing else bad to say about the stay.

We were welcomed so warmly by Bernard and Stephany, and the quiet beach setting made this feel like a little slice of paradise. Coconuts is away from the bustle, and the accommodation has been thoughtfully arranged for a relaxing stay. It was a dream Mauritius getaway for us. We’ll be back, and can’t recommend it enough. CocoWater worked really well for our family of four over seven nights. The accommodation was roomy and well equipped, the service was great, and everyone on site was helpful and super nice. Having the beach to ourselves was lovely. It’s somewhat out of the way, and walking towards Pereybere or Grand Baie means using the road directly across since there’s no footpath. Both are a decent walk, though everything is manageable. Delivery Dodo could be useful here too.
