Victoria Beachcomber Resort & Spa

Breakfast and dinner right on the beach were a highlight of our honeymoon, and the food and service were top quality. The beach itself was stunning, with sunsets among the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. We asked for Frangipani flowers, and while we were at the buffet getting fresh fruit, the warm, friendly staff put some on our breakfast table. Every staff member helped make the honeymoon feel special and romantic. Our room was beautiful, new, spacious and perfectly maintained. We stayed at Beachcomber Victoria (Adults only) in December 2017, and even years later we still dream about it. The whole resort felt magical and captured the essence of Mauritius. We have vivid memories of the sunsets and warm hospitality. It was a 5-star experience we highly recommend for a special occasion.

The kids club kept our children happily occupied with plenty of well-organized activities, including a boat trip, painting and sports. We also used the babysitting service for our 2-year-old, and the sitter was lovely and attentive. Our room was cozy, nicely decorated and very clean. Thanks especially to Radhun for taking such good care of it. We appreciated being able to check in early at 11am, which made arriving much easier. The food was excellent across all three restaurants, with lots of choice and delicious, high-quality meals. Everyone we met was genuinely kind and welcoming, and the service and relaxed atmosphere were wonderful. We had a lovely stay at the Victoria Beachcomber and would definitely recommend it.

The kids club team, Rachel, Stephanie and Ursula, were caring and lovely, and their patience helped the children feel happy and safe. Clarino and Gauthier brought extra fun and entertainment to our stay. Chef Bader and the La Casa Restaurant team served delicious food, and every meal felt carefully prepared with passion. Thanks to the main buffet staff, bar team and Animation team too, for the excellent service and fantastic performances. Arielle gave us especially attentive, professional service. Housekeeping did an amazing job, and our room was wonderful. The Front Office team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, while the staff throughout the hotel were professional and always smiling. My family and I had a truly memorable stay at Victoria Hotel. It exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it for comfort, quality service and a memorable experience. There are plenty of activities and amenities included in the stay, so it works well for groups and families with kids. The property is very casual and family-friendly, though the pool and main restaurant can get quite loud. There are other restaurants, but book ahead because they fill up several days in advance. I wouldn’t call it a romantic place.
