There's no lift, which made things difficult. I had a rough time carrying my heavy trolley up the stairs from the ground floor to the second. If you're bringing heavy luggage, think it over first.

The room was clean, the staff were kind, and it was quiet and very safe. I had a nice stay, and both the metro and bus station were easy to get to. A mini fridge in the room would've been a nice extra.

We felt unsafe after a male staff member was caught looking into our room. When we raised it, reception dismissed the concern and defended him. That's a serious breach of privacy, and I can't recommend this lodge.

We were in town for a conference and spent a week at Vintage Lodge. It was a cozy, really nice place, and the manager was friendly and made our stay comfortable. On a few mornings we had to leave very early and couldn't wait for breakfast, but on the days we did stay, the staff met our expectations. The hot water could be better since it takes a while to heat up. I assume that's common with the outside geysers in the area. Good value for money.
