Bellevue Tamarin

We spent August 2023 here and loved how relaxing it was. Pascale and Fabrice made everything easy, from their dinner suggestions, which we followed every night, to a sunset catamaran trip with their friends and family. Their sweet dogs greeted us each morning, too. They’re the friendliest hosts we’ve had, and we hope to return to Bellevue someday. We regretted booking somewhere else for the second half of our trip because we kept wishing we were back here. Charlie and I had such a special stay.

We felt welcome right away. Pascale and Fabrice made sure we were comfortable and pointed out the key places nearby. Our daughter spent plenty of time in the pool, and we were lucky to get along with the other guests as well. Would happily recommend it again.

The room was spotless, and the bathroom felt roomy and comfortable. We also liked sitting out on the porch to look at the sea, especially on rainy days. It’s a cozy guest house with 5-6 apartments and a shared pool, run by friendly owners who work hard to make your stay comfortable. Good value for the price.

Our first trip overseas with our baby was in Mauritius, and the penthouse at Bellevue Tamarin Guesthouse made it a memorable one. The ocean and sunset views were breathtaking, and the thoughtful decor made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Pascale and Fabrice helped arrange airport pickup, a rental car with a baby seat, a cot, high chair, and even a hiking carrier. Their suggestions for day trips, local sights and food, restaurants, and beaches were great. They also set up a sunset catamaran sail and a date night for us, with drinks at a beach bar followed by dinner at a lovely restaurant. There were events for guests during our stay, too. We were amazed by the Sega dancers and musicians at a couple’s wedding anniversary celebration. That was our first night on the island, so it was a fantastic start. Another evening we had a delicious Indian dinner at the guesthouse. The treatments there were so relaxing, too, and I’d definitely recommend booking one.
