Élysée Résidence

I had a great time staying on BB, and the service was excellent. Mrs. Virginie was doing the waiter, cooking, and admin work herself, which really impressed me. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day, which was wow for a hotel like this. Thank you, Mrs. Virginie.

We stayed in a family-sized flat. It was spacious and clean, though nothing fancy, and good value. The French couple running it were very helpful. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it offers more than pizza and caters to a wide range.

The food tasted very good, and the owners are kind people who are willing to help guests. Staff were helpful too. It's reasonably priced and in a very safe area, right opposite the beach, on the bus route, and within walking distance of a supermarket. Not the best hotel, but a good stay for the price.

We paid in advance for eight days after booking a 24-day stay, but left after three. The room was in poor shape: the sheets and pillows were unwashed, the balcony couldn't be used, and the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was the same stale croissants and toast each day. When we asked to change rooms, the owners said the place was full and told us to find another hotel. They then refused to refund the five unused days. That night, security behind the gate threatened not to let us back in to collect our bags after we asked for the money. The owners were disgustingly rude. The online pictures are outdated, don't believe them. Total rip-off.
