Les Estivales Beachfront Suites & Penthouses with LOV

This was a calm, relaxing escape for us as a couple, away from the city's noise. The setting gave us a peaceful place to enjoy time together, and the property was very clean and felt luxurious throughout our stay. A superb restaurant right in front of the complex made things convenient, and the high level of security gave us complete peace of mind. A perfect getaway for couples looking for comfort, privacy, and a touch of luxury.

The beds were comfortable and the beachfront setting and living area were lovely, but the apartment’s service didn’t feel worth its luxury price. One bedroom was quite small, which was awkward with a child. We arrived early and couldn’t get a reasonable early check-in rate despite trying to negotiate. Getting a replacement gas cylinder for the barbecue was also a hassle and disrupted our dinner. Daily cleaning cost extra, which seemed unreasonable for a five-day stay with a young child. The property has potential, but more flexibility and attention to guest convenience would have made a difference.

The location is the one real plus. The place otherwise felt more like a group of apartments or Airbnbs than a hotel, with no staff, breakfast, or amenities. Air-conditioning was only in the bedrooms, water was supplied just for the first day, housekeeping came every four days, and there was no room service. We were given only two towels for five nights. A very disappointing stay.

For the price we paid and the stated star rating, I’d consider staying again, but only if the rate matched the quality. The staff were very friendly, especially Subash, who was always available to help. The place was clean, close to the sea with access to a private beach, and had a small pool. The bus stop was nearby, though we had a car and I can’t comment on the routes. The supermarket is 3 kilometer away. Our apartment didn’t match the booking photos, which showed a large balcony. Ours was tiny. The sunny living room had no AC, and its fan wasn’t working. The furniture is old and needs fixing or replacing, and the sofa was very dirty with lots of water stains. At a premium price, I’d expect premium quality.
