Sikamifer Tourist Resort

We came in April with our little family, first time here, and loved it. The pool at Shauna and the food were all good, and I especially loved the omelet with chili. Just give guests enough time to book lunch, since checkout is at 12 and we didn't know whether to tell reception at 10 that we'd want lunch.

The service was reasonably decent, but the rooms are missing a lot of things someone might need to be comfortable living there.

The included breakfast buffet was amazing, the Wi-Fi was great, and the air conditioning worked nicely. The sauna was modern and pleasant, but the pool was very cold. The gym was a horrible experience. The room itself felt worn out. The pillowcases were in bad shape when we arrived, the sheets kept coming off the mattress, and the shower head holder was broken. It's not a smart TV, just cable, so we watched Netflix on our phone. The door only stays shut when locked. We could hear most of the neighbors and other sounds, though it didn't bother us much. There's a mini fridge, kettle, two spoons, and six glasses. Service was extremely friendly, but could have been more professional. The location felt a bit dodgy.

Sikamifer Tourist Resort feels more like a dormitory than a regular hotel or resort. It doesn't offer many hotel style amenities or basic services beyond room cleaning. It often hosts guests from African regions who come to the city for medical treatment. Parking is limited, so renting a car could be a problem. Breakfast choices are quite limited for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
