Ithaa Inn Kamadhoo Hotel

Abdul arranged my speedboat to the airport and stayed at the jetty until it left. That’s the kind of service they provide here. I was so happy with my stay that I added two nights, making it the best seven-night hotel stay I’ve had. The beach is just a short walk away, and breakfast at the nearby restaurant was lovely. The owner mentioned they plan to open their own restaurant in a few months. I was impressed from the welcome at the jetty onward. The team pays attention to every detail, from service to the contemporary room. It was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a laptop-sized safe, a bright vanity table, and a balcony with a small table and two chairs for coffee. The towels and face cloths were pristine, and the bathtub and shower had a chic finish. The air conditioning and fan were both quiet. It was the best room of the five islands I visited in the Maldives, and great value for money. The staff and owner clearly wanted me to feel comfortable and happy. On my first morning, someone walked me to the restaurant to make sure I knew where to go for breakfast. Thanks for a fantastic stay! 🙏

The bikini beach is only a two-minute walk away. My only suggestion would be to offer water in glass bottles. Everything else about this hotel was wonderful, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone coming to Kamadhoo. Our room was amazing. It was a great size with a super comfortable bed, and the huge bathroom even had a proper bathtub. There were beach towels, a kettle with tea and coffee, a smart TV, bedside lights, water, a fridge, eco shower products, and a good-sized balcony with furniture. They picked us up at the port and gave us a lovely cold coconut when we arrived. The staff were really kind and helpful, and I wouldn’t change a thing about the room.

There’s no restaurant at Ithaa, so breakfast was at the nearby cafe and restaurant Kaage. The food was tasty, and the team there were very customer friendly. The guesthouse is close to the bikini beach. I visited in Oct 2025, when Ithaa was new, so all the amenities looked shiny and new. There are two rooms on each of the first, second, and third floors. We had both rooms on the third floor. They were spacious, with air conditioning, balconies, and generous bathrooms with a toilet, bathtub, and separate shower cubicle. Reception and room service were exemplary, and the hotel manager was always around and happy to chat about whatever interested us.

Ithaa Inn Kamadhoo combines stylish interiors and modern architecture with island charm. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome. A beautiful guesthouse!
