We noticed how nicely the building was lit up at night, and one of the staff kindly showed us around. The shared spaces were impressive, and the panoramic room had a gorgeous view across the whole beach. The hotel is eight years old but looks almost new because it’s so well kept. I’d definitely stay here for a few days on my next trip to Dhiffushi.

We were two women traveling alone when the hotel manager pictured seriously and deliberately harassed us on the beach. He approached in a threatening way, verbally threatened us, and took our photos without permission. We felt unsafe and deeply distressed, and had to report what happened to hotel management. We do not believe this hotel is a safe place for women. Update: The staff member admitted he was wrong and apologized, but only after this review appeared. Hotel management also apologized for him and for the Italian family involved in the incident, including aggression, vandalism, creating danger, and harassment alongside the staff member. We were directly asked not to contact local authorities and to remove this review. We don’t accept the apology. Women traveling here should stay alert for their safety and avoid this hotel.

You can step straight onto bikini beach from Rashu hiyaa hotel, which has the best spot on Difushi island. It’s even better than a resort in that you don’t need to spend time getting to the beach. There wasn’t a breakfast buffet. I asked for Maldivian breakfast, but the plate was a bit confusing and came with only a small spoonful of masuni. The waiter was kind and brought more masuni and other Maldivian food when we asked. A short, nice stay, though the food wasn’t as good as I’d expected.

The staff were so friendly and brought positive energy, and the hotel was clean with everything we needed. The food was delicious, healthy, and always served generously. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back. The attached photo is with the very polite and courteous administrator ☺️
