The island felt like a real gem, authentic and wild, with pristine coral reefs that were stunning. Diving is a must, and we even had the chance to spot guitar sharks along the way. A very special place. Razeen is the heart and soul of the inn. He and his father made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. They were happy to help with every request, and we felt genuinely looked after.

I chose Feridhoo Inn because its central location was perfect, but my stay was really disappointing. The room was simple and fairly clean, but there was mould on the walls, especially behind the bed. The room didn't have the TV or safe listed on Booking, and the photos on Google and Booking gave a misleading impression: I expected a chair outside the room and daybeds in the yard. The reception was just a small table with three chairs and a swing. Breakfast and any other meals we paid for were served at another guesthouse a minute away. I had booked and paid for four nights, but was told the property was overbooked even though Booking was still open. They promised temporary accommodation for one night before moving me to Feridhoo Inn. I was taken to Feridhoo Villa, which I didn't like for several reasons. It's a much better hotel, but in a bad location, and I agreed because it was only meant to be one night. Honestly, they seemed to plan on leaving me there. It rained heavily for three days, and one manager used that as another reason to wait until the weather improved. I lost two days there, unable to sit outside or talk to other guests, with neither the TV nor Wi-Fi working. I was very unhappy and finally made them come move me that evening, rain or not. It was only a four-minute walk. The biggest problem was one manager who wasn't reliable. When I asked about trips, he promised to call or text later, but never did. At Feridhoo Inn, I was put in a room without the TV and safe that Booking said should be there. They also didn't take my passport details when they should have, saying they'd come in the morning. I got unhelpful answers about trips and borrowing flippers. The other manager was absolutely lovely. When I happened to see him one morning, we sorted out a trip and flippers in a few minutes. I paid for tax and the trip, and since he didn't have change, I was told his brother, the other manager, would give me the money later. I had completely stopped trusting him after finding out he'd lied to me several times. He didn't bring the money until 10:30 pm, after I asked twice. The location is perfect, and everyone except that manager was lovely. I wasn't expecting five-star accommodation from a three-star guesthouse, but the mould, rat droppings in the room that other guests also complained about, and the mismatch with the description are too much. I wouldn't recommend it. Find another guesthouse, as this one isn't worth the money.

The island is beautiful, with a few restaurants and two or three supermarkets, and sandy roads that are nice to walk on. Feridhoo Inn is centrally located, but the rooms are average. There's no reception, so you need to stay in touch through WA if you need anything. Service was okay. On arrival, they took our luggage to the room in an electric car, while we walked the five minutes there. There's no water cooker, and sometimes the water smells, though you can't have everything on an island. Breakfast at $15 and dinner (?) are too expensive. You can't borrow a snorkeling set, only rent one. They know guests need it, so they charge for everything, well, they can, since they're the only ones on the island. It was okay, not the best experience I've had, but definitely not the worst.

The rooms are clean and cozy, and the Wi-Fi was the fastest I've had in the Maldives. We stayed during Ramadan, when everything on the island was closed, but the very nice and accommodating owners made sure we could still get three meals a day. The food was the best on the island!

A nice place to stay. We got both a bath towel and a beach towel, which was handy, and masks and fins for snorkeling were included for free! :)
