Getting to the island from Male Airport was convenient, and the hotel sits right by the beach. The sea life around Himandoo Island and the beautiful scenery made the peaceful atmosphere even better. I had a great time on the ocean tours, and everyone was friendly, relaxed, and clearly well trained. The hospitality was excellent, and Manta Sea felt like a lovely, safe island escape. Manta Dive School has a skilled, welcoming team. Alex was especially helpful, easy to contact, and attentive to every guest and their little needs. I’ll definitely come back.

We only tried the restaurant, but it was probably the best proper dining option in Himandhoo. The food quality impressed me, especially considering how extensive the menu is. The crispy prawns are a must, really crunchy and savory. We also ordered grilled lobster, which was marinated beautifully. The pricing felt unreasonable, though: large and small lobsters cost the same. The large one was sold out when we ordered, so we were surprised to be charged the same price for a small one. Remember to call ahead for a reservation, since there are only a few balcony tables.

The island and its locals were so welcoming, and the upstairs restaurant was a great place to eat. We spent three nights at Manta Sea View in Himandhoo and loved it. Our room was spotless, with amazing views, and the staff were super friendly. It was excellent value and a perfect place to stop before going on to a resort. I’d definitely stay again.

I haven’t stayed here myself, but I did get to look inside a room. It was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. This is one of the better maintained guest houses in Himandhoo. There’s also a rooftop restaurant with lovely lagoon views, fancy drinks, and delicious food.

The sea view from my room was hard to beat, and the island location was great. My room was clean and cozy with everything I needed. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful.
