Molar Wave

We spent 13 days at Molar Wave and enjoyed every one of them. Ali, the manager, his friend and chef, and their colleague are lovely people who did everything they could to make our stay a success. The food was delicious, and the room was adequate and looked like the pictures. They arranged the excursions we asked for, and the boat driver was great and lovely. The bikini beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and other shops are all nearby, with pretty much everything you need close to the hotel. If you ask, they'll clean your room every other day. Our night at Molar Wave was a letdown. The room was in much worse condition than we expected for the price, and there were no extra amenities. The AC barely worked even at 16°C, the water heater was broken, and the ceiling fan in the upstairs room was weak. When we raised these problems, we were told the room shouldn't have been rented out in the first place. No one was at the front desk to help. The only staff member there was an expat who seemed unprepared to deal with guest concerns. We were also told to leave the next day to make room for other guests. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

Our stay at Molar Wave left us very disappointed. The room was not as clean as we expected, and several areas needed attention. The bathroom door was damaged and wouldn't shut properly. The AC also wasn't working right, so it was uncomfortable to rest. Service added to the frustration. Staff seemed slow to respond to requests, and the breakfast's quality and variety fell short of what we expected. I wouldn't recommend Molar Wave based on our experience, and hope they take these problems seriously and improve things for future guests.

Habib was friendly and available whenever we needed anything. I recommend Molar if you're visiting Himmafushi. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and cold AC, and the shower had working hot water. I stayed five days.
