Radisson Blu Resort Maldives

Dining with baby sharks just five feet away is something I can't get over. They told us the sharks were friendly, and watching them made the meal even more special. The food was amazing, and the views of the endless ocean were breathtaking. Everyone was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The chef did so much to make us feel at home. Mr Bandara, the head chef, along with Mr. Sundar, Mr Charan, Ms Elaiza and Mr. Shiyam, were all humble and kind. Their warm smiles and eager conversations made the experience even better. It was one of the most beautiful and fulfilling resort experiences I've had. I hope I can experience it again and feel that same sense of being small beside nature and all its unfathomable beauty.

Chef Bandara made our evening feel personal. He welcomed us himself, explained each dish, and checked in regularly to make sure we were enjoying the meal. His warmth and care added a lot to the experience. We chose the 5 course Japanese dining experience, and every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked just right. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and each course felt carefully put together. From the food to the attentive service and lovely atmosphere, it was one of the best dining experiences we've had. We'd absolutely recommend it to anyone after a special meal of Japanese cuisine.

Nujoom was incredibly helpful during our stay and shared fascinating things about the Maldives, its culture, and its history. We really enjoyed learning from her and appreciated how kind she was. At Radisson Blu Maldives, Chef Bandara was also especially welcoming. He was respectful, friendly, and kind, and made us feel genuinely cared for. The resort has amazing staff and a real sense of hospitality. Highly recommended.

The scenery was truly, truly, truly breathtaking, and the food was absolutely delicious too. Even though we were there for only four nights, every moment and every view felt like something from a fairytale. It took me a while to write this because that beautiful time felt like a dream, and everyday life slowly brought us back to reality. During our honeymoon, Jordan, our island host, was warm, thoughtful, and attentive throughout. Jaison, the activities manager, shared so many good moments with us, from beach tennis and beach volleyball to sunset yoga. We still miss those days enjoying activities together on the island. On our last morning, Rilwaan kindly invited us snorkeling and guided us out to explore the ocean. Seeing sharks and Nemo was unforgettable. This is definitely an island we'd like to return to someday.
