Club Med Kani

Yoga was really interesting, thanks to Beverly, and Anjas did a nice dance with a good stage performance. It was a friendly place for a holiday. I met a few staff members, and Kim the bartender was especially nice and made me feel like I was hanging out with friends.

The children were in such good hands with the warm, professional Mini Club team. Elena, the manager, was especially attentive and caring, and clearly loves her work. Mahen and Ashish also deserve credit for leading a restaurant team that stayed professional, attentive, and solution-focused even when busy. The resort itself is lovely and pleasant, though the shop could use a wider selection of products. Its service was fine. A beach bar would add to the setting, and keeping the restaurant open past 4:00 pm would help. There's a gap in food options after it closes, apart from beach crêpes, where the queues can be long, which is inconvenient for families. The front desk experience needs work too. Staff there often seemed abrupt and not very welcoming, so asking for help could feel uncomfortable. Club Med Kani has real strengths in its Mini Club and restaurant teams, but better reception service and a few added amenities would improve the stay.

Our overwater villa, with direct access to the sea, was spacious and comfortable, and a highlight of the week. Each day offered plenty to do, including snorkelling, kayaking, and fitness classes. Sunset Salutations was especially memorable and well worth trying. The resort has beautiful views all around, and although some areas look a little dated, everything was maintained well and it didn't take away from the experience. Most of all, the team made the stay special. Cody, Stefan, and Erica were warm and friendly G.O.s. We came home happy, tanned, and well-fed after our first Club Med trip. Club Med Kani Maldives exceeded our expectations.

Enes made meals especially enjoyable with his kindness and attention. He remembered little details, checked in without hovering, and made us feel welcome. Baris brought a lot of energy to the resort, from daytime activities to the evening shows, and his enthusiasm got people involved and lifted the mood. Their warmth is what made Club Med Kani feel so memorable.
