Season Holidays at Hulhumale

The washroom was unbelievably tiny, with barely room to get in or move around, and it was very uncomfortable to use. My room was extremely small and poorly maintained, with peeling paint that made the place feel neglected. Even though the hotel was almost empty at check-in, I was given a third-floor room, which was inconvenient since there is no lift. For the state of the room and facilities, this hotel isn't worth the money. I strongly don't recommend it. There are much better hotels for the same price.

The hotel's location was the one good thing. It's close to plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops, and I'd recommend staying at another hotel in the area. We spent no more than an hour at the property. The trouble started at the airport, where we couldn't find the included transfer. The transfer team wasn't helpful and kept sending us in different directions, including to the wrong terminal and gates that airport personnel said didn't exist. The room looked nothing like the photos. It smelled awful, the bedsheets and pillow had stains, and the bathroom was wet. The tiny balcony, about 1m2, was full of old cigarets. There was mold or fungus on the floor and in several places in the bathroom, the walls were badly damaged and stained, and there were long hairs everywhere. We asked for a refund, but the hotel only offered another room, which was just as unhygienic. We booked a new property and got no refund. All the awful reviews about this place are true. I wonder whether the people who left positive reviews actually stayed here.

I'm a repeat guest, so most of the staff know me well. Check-in was easy and fast, and the welcome with a drink and face towels was lovely. I was extremely pleased with the service and the whole stay. The experience was excellent, and I'll definitely come back next time. Thanks, Roshan.

The staff were friendly and flexible, carrying our bags up and down, arranging free taxi rides to the hotel and back to the airport, and giving us a takeaway lunch because we had an early departure. The location is perfect for an early airport trip, which is why I gave it five stars. The room was a bit tight but fine for what it is. The bed and AC were okay, and the wifi seemed stable enough. We did find some mold around the wash basin.
