Ruka Maldives

Ruka Maldives had a calm, relaxing atmosphere from the moment we arrived, and it was a lovely setting for a peaceful meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented, with a good range of choices. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always smiling, which made us feel welcome and comfortable. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Maldives, and I can’t wait to return.

The location is fantastic, very close to the bikini beach, and the design looks good. The rooms and beds are comfortable, and the staff are helpful, though they could use more experience with customer relations. The main problems were noise and smoke. There are tables in the corridors on every floor where smoking is allowed. Since each room has a window facing the corridor and an open bathroom window, smoke can sometimes drift inside. The soundproofing is poor too, so conversations from people sitting in the hallway carry into the rooms. Fixing these issues would make for a much nicer stay.

A budget-friendly stay with clean rooms, warm hospitality, and easy access to snorkeling. The morning breakfast was superb, and the local cuisine and friendly staff add to the appeal. It feels like an authentic, comfortable, intimate alternative at a fraction of the cost. Receptionist Nimalka was an awesome person, and we became friends in a short time. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at ruka, and it was very good value for the price. The room was spacious and they even decorated it for us. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and receptionist sara personally took us to see the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. We really wanted to see manta rays, even though it wasn’t manta ray season in dhiffushi. They arranged a private excursion for us, and thanks to captain munitte and peetey, we got to see them!
