The buggy driving was a serious safety worry, with staff often going far too fast. We raised our concerns repeatedly, but management took no effective action. We’ve now reported the situation to the health authorities. We’ve stayed here several times over the years, including four times in the past twelve months. When Laurent was General Manager, the standards were excellent and we had no reason to complain. On this latest visit, though, hygiene and service had fallen badly. We found hair in food three times, and a live worm in the salad at a private barbecue in our villa. Spoiled fruit was served on several occasions, and the villa had insects and worms throughout. The spa, which used to be a highlight, also seemed poorly maintained and unhygienic. Treatments felt rushed, and the atmosphere no longer met what we’d expect from a five-star hotel. Management showed neither competence nor accountability. At this price and category, these conditions have no excuse. We can’t recommend the place to anyone looking for real quality or safety.

We’ve visited six times now, and keep coming back after trying other “luxury” places in the Maldives. The food and service feel Michelin Star/Key quality, and we’ve enjoyed every stay. Highly recommend. The GM left in August, so there’s going to be a change in senior management. We hope the quality stays the same!

We asked several times for the vegetables in our salad to be washed, but still found a live worm on the rucola. I also found hair in my food twice during our few days there with the family. Unacceptable.

The villa was gorgeous, spacious, elegant, and felt like home in paradise. We went snorkeling, saw dolphins, which is very rare, and got to explore the island so well. Mr. G (Gassim), our butler, made all that happen. He was always a step ahead, helping us plan activities and timing, and surprised us with so many things. I really can’t imagine the vacation without him. We were welcomed in the lounge by Fary, who was so kind and helpful. It may be the most beautiful lounge we’ve ever seen. Check-in there meant we could go straight to our villa after landing. The seaplane was smooth, with hardly any wait, and the flight took around 45 minutes. The food was excellent every day. Thanks to Caroline for the wine and champagne recommendations and warm care, to Rico and Leonel for their hospitality throughout the stay, and to Chef Charles for the delicious treats. Yen was another highlight. Try a massage or yoga with her if you come, it was the most memorable treatment of my life. Thanks to the whole Cheval Blanc team, and to my boyfriend, of course. We stay at Cheval Blanc often, and Randheli is now our favorite of all. We’ll definitely return.

Arriving on the resort’s own seaplane made the trip unforgettable, and everything from start to finish felt seamless and serene. The villa was huge, beautifully designed, and completely private. It was also so quiet and peaceful, just right for a relaxing getaway. The private pool was massive, one of the largest I’ve seen at a villa, and added to the sense of exclusivity. Highly recommend if you’re after luxury and tranquility.
