Summer Island Maldives Hotel

The island itself is beautiful, but the staff's attitude left us feeling ignored and unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Many came across as cold and unfriendly, as though helping guests was a burden. Service was slow, communication was lacking, and we were left with the sense that guests simply didn't matter. This was meant to be the most special trip of our lives, our honeymoon. We hoped for warmth, kindness, and at least a little effort to make it feel special, but instead the indifference and unprofessional attitude overshadowed it. For what we spent, the stay fell far short of our expectations. We left with disappointment instead of the beautiful memories a honeymoon should bring. We wouldn't return, and can't recommend Summer Island Maldives to couples seeking a romantic or welcoming experience in the Maldives.

We've been to Summer Island Maldives twice and would gladly go back again. Both visits were wonderful, from the beautiful island and its soft white sand to the clear turquoise water and peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The food was fresh and tasty, with a good variety each day, and exceeded our expectations both times. What stayed with us most was how warm and attentive the staff were. Each time we returned, they welcomed us like we were coming home, with real kindness and professionalism. A dream holiday, and we've already had it twice.

Snorkeling was one of the best parts of my stay at Summer Island. The underwater life is stunning and vibrant, right at your doorstep, and it's suitable for beginners and experienced snorkelers alike. The island is peaceful and beautiful, and the slower pace gave me space to unwind and reconnect with myself. I can’t wait to return to what felt like paradise to me. The food was consistently excellent, with lots of variety and flavors to look forward to at every meal. The staff were the ones who really made it personal, though. They were genuinely welcoming, kind, and warm from the moment I arrived.

We had to extend our stay by another nine days because of the outbreak of war. It was an uncertain, stressful situation, and the hotel team went out of their way to accommodate us. Their understanding and generosity made us feel safe, cared for, and not alone when we needed support. We're deeply grateful for that. Before all that, we'd already fallen in love with Summer Island Resort. The bungalow was gorgeous, lovingly detailed, and perfectly maintained. We woke to the sound of the ocean and watched unforgettable sunsets. The island felt like paradise, with clear turquoise water, powdery white sand, and beautiful scenery everywhere. We were welcomed with such genuine warmth that we felt at home from the start. The food was fresh, varied, and carefully prepared, and the staff made sure every meal was just right. The whole team's friendliness, professionalism, and heartfelt hospitality made this a dream stay we'll carry in our hearts. We'd return in a heartbeat.
