The beach views are lovely, and the place has a scenic, rustic feel. WiFi by the bar and seating area is good and free. But the rooms are so dirty, like they haven't had a proper clean in years. You'd probably be cleaner camping in a tent. None of the nice views make up for how badly cleanliness standards have been neglected.

Camping here feels safe, and the rustic setting has lovely views. The bar serves all the drinks, while the restaurant handles most meals. If you're after a cool breeze in a scenic, rustic place, this could suit you.

The hot water did work, and the drinks weren't too overpriced. Still, calling this place a resort feels like a stretch. There was no reliable electricity or WiFi, and the lights ran on a different circuit from the power points and fan, so those only worked in the evening. Mosquitoes and bugs got into the room through the glass louvre windows, which had no fly screens. The fly net had heaps of holes, and we tried plugging them with toilet paper. The sink smelled because it had no water seal, like a P or S bend, and no plug, so I blocked it with toilet paper. For accommodation, it's best to pay in USD cash. Their set kwacha rates for card payments are quite overpriced, with an extra 5% card fee.

The boat ride and activities gave me the nerve to face my fear of cliff jumping. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing, too.
