The meals were unforgettable, with every dish seeming carefully made, and the service felt warm without hovering. I also loved the rooms and their thoughtful design, which made it easy to want to stay in. Right in the middle of the city, the hotel is close to all the lively streets but still peaceful enough to feel like a break. From arrival, I was welcomed like I was coming home. A lovely boutique place where I felt spoiled but comfortable.

MalVille feels like my second home in Lilongwe. Since I stay here regularly, they remember which room I like and make sure I get it. Mine has a dining table 😅 The hospitality is amazing. Housekeeping needs work. You often have to ask for basics like lotion or bottled water because restocking seems random, and the cleaning isn't thorough. I checked out on Thursday after leaving a plate of leftovers in the microwave. When I came back the following Sunday, it was still there with rotten food.

The rooms felt wonderfully roomy, and the service was really good. It's a convenient place too. I'd definitely recommend it.

I visited in June 2022 and found the staff amazing, friendly, and ready to help. The internet worked, and my room was beautiful, with a full kitchen and sitting area. The food was amazing as well. For breakfast, though, a buffet would work better than the A la carte menu.

12on54 seems like an introvert's dream, since there aren't many people around. The food can come out half raw, so you really have to stay on your toes. The good thing is they listen when you complain and will fix it by cooking the dish again or bringing something else. Shem, they try.
