Casa en la Condesa

We spent a while playing Smash Bros. and watching anime, and the pool area had a nice feel for hanging out with friends. I’d come here on a friend's recommendation. The entrance is a little tucked away, but inside it’s modest and cozy.

Jesús looked after us the whole time and was really attentive. The place is right in the center, though getting there feels a bit rough. Once inside, it was very quiet, and the price was low. The room had the refrigerator, bathroom, and air conditioning listed. I’d return because it was central, affordable, and we were treated kindly. There was a frustrating start, though. We said at 11:00 AM that we expected to arrive around 2:00 PM, and they agreed. We got there about 2:15 PM, but the room we’d reserved still wasn’t free. We waited an hour while they moved our things out and cleaned. They couldn’t give us the keys because the previous guest still had them. Apparently he was friends with the host, but the co-host didn’t know about it.

We ended up having a good time, and the TV had Netflix and everything. Still, the stay felt a little odd at first. When we arrived, the host gave us directions by phone, and the front door was usually left open. We met him a few days later. Nobody bothers you, and the young man was attentive, but as first-timers the setup threw us off a bit. The shared area was nice, with cooking utensils and a small pool where you could relax. It’s a block from the beach and bars, so coming and going is easy. The rooms felt like being at home, and this seems suited to young people, friends, or anyone on a budget looking for beach fun. The hygiene was disappointing. It looked okay at first, but when we made the bed, there was a big bloodstain on the sheets. That scared us and put us off. We had some idea what to expect, and for the price you can’t expect much more, but it was still a strange experience. 😅💓

The host was friendly and helpful, and I liked the place. It matched the description and photos, with private bathrooms and TVs that had Wi-Fi, Netflix, and YouTube. The location is great for Condesa nightclubs and restaurants. Just ask before booking, since not every room has air conditioning.
