Encanto Acapulco

The drinks were top notch, and the food had truly outstanding flavors. We also loved the excellent rooms and location. From our room, Acapulco Bay looked beautiful, especially at night with the blue lighting.

I can't think of a more beautiful place. The sea and Acapulco look incredible from the pool, and the architecture's changing light displays turn every sunrise and sunset into a spectacle. The friendly service and range of food made our vacation even better. Thanks to the whole team!

The staff were kind, professional, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Hotel Encanto has gorgeous modern rooms with sweeping ocean and hillside views, and some have private pools for a quiet dip with a view. We watched the sky turn gold and pink from our terrace at sunset, a moment I won't forget. The hotel's design feels luxurious and peaceful. It's a lovely spot for a relaxed, upscale break in Acapulco. Can't wait to come back! 🌅💫

The views are great, it's near Acapulco's main strip, and kids are allowed. But for an expensive five-star hotel, nothing about the stay felt upscale. It felt like they were trying to scam us at every turn instead of taking care of us. At checkout, they added a daily service fee that hadn't been advertised when we booked. I don't know what it was for, since the service was terrible, especially at reception. The beds had just one papery sheet. We were freezing, asked for blankets, and got one more sheet. Water cost an outrageous amount, even though it was purified water, not bottled. They served it in a glass bottle that had been resealed, and the peeling paint made it obvious the bottle was old and refilled with purified tap water. The food was very average and extremely expensive. Two people could spend about 100 USD on a meal and still leave hungry. We stayed in a villa and didn't feel very safe there. A road runs behind the villas, with nothing to stop someone from climbing onto the patio. Our door lock also didn't work properly. When a dump truck was moving around the neighborhood below, the villa smelled like trash for an hour. It just isn't worth the price. Banyan Tree Cabo Marques has better views, service, and food, and costs less.
