It's cheap and fine for a few days in the Acapulco zocalo area. There's a nice, little, safe beach 100m away, with plenty of typical Mexican restaurants nearby.

The location is central, near public transport on the costera avenue, so you can get to the beaches and attractions. There are plenty of greasy spoon places around, along with pharmacies and grocery stores. This is a basic, rustic hotel for anyone who just needs a CLEAN place to sleep after exploring Acapulco. They supply two bars of soap, clean bedding, and towels, but you'll need to bring your own shampoo.

I hadn't stayed there before, but it turned out to be great. Everything's been redone and it's very comfortable. The rooms were great, the customer service was professional, and everything was perfect.

For 21 bucks, it's one block from the beach. The room is small, with a tiny bathroom and A/C, but I only sleep there, so it does the job. It's secure, and that's important.
