Hotel Real del Centro

There’s barely any ventilation, and the shower water is cold. The TV only gets two channels, both regular broadcast TV :( To get in or out, you have to wait for an attendant to open the very thick lock and chain. I felt trapped the whole time. The woman working there has a terrible temper and plays games with the rates. She has different room prices for high, low, and mid season, but apparently everything counts as high season to her. She charges 1000 pesos more than the prices they claim to have online. Big fail.

The room smelled awful and the air conditioning didn’t work. Service was terrible, there’s no elevator or anyone to help carry your things upstairs, and there’s no parking or cold water. I went downstairs to ask for help, but nobody answered. I booked two nights and had to leave without getting a refund because the hotel was a mess. I don’t recommend it.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, the prices were affordable, and the staff were wonderful. Service was excellent and the atmosphere felt family friendly. It’s one block from the city center and one block from the coastal road, with essential transportation close by. 100% recommended.

Even after 7 pm, I still hadn't been given my rooms, and the damage was never fixed. The owner’s lack of attention was unacceptable and irresponsible. On top of that, the people who arrange reservations keep 3,500 pesos. Such awful service!
