Estancia de Cortés

Edgar and Yarí were warm and helpful hosts, and dinner here was excellent. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the area was peaceful. I enjoyed my time at Estancia de Cortes and would happily stay again.

We were delighted with the place and your hospitality again. Thanks so much, and see you soon! Some of your bus guests, though, were unpleasant. Most were quiet, but I saw one family arguing on the beach about paying for the palapa, then behaving the same way at the hotel. They seemed to have emotional problems that led to conflict wherever they went. Alcohol and drugs are clearly a bad combination.

The food was a highlight: both breakfast and dinner were delicious and well prepared. The pool and wading pool are small, but fine, and the staff were attentive and helpful as usual. Hot water was always available, and the Wi-Fi worked reliably. We’ve stayed before and could see positive changes and ongoing renovations. The beach is about 300 meters down the road, a bit of a walk, but good for your health, haha. We heard some noise early on the day we left, though that was the only issue.

I spent three nights and four days in a downstairs room. On two of the nights, management let people stay by the pool until 2:30 in the morning, drinking and shouting. I found that pretty insensitive, especially since management were drinking there too.
