Hotel Villas Arcon

The pool water was at a perfect temperature, and the woman at the office was very helpful. The beds weren’t the best, even though getting a good rest is our top priority, but the a/c made up for that. We were there at the beginning of April and saw a lot of mosquitoes, so come prepared.

We’d return. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and there’s secure gated parking in nicely treed grounds. The on-site restaurant was quite good, with dinners averaging 150$ and breakfast 80$. There are three large pools at a comfortable temperature, at least in nov. 22, and the beach and dunes are a five-minute walk away. The motel shows its age, and a few cans of paint would make a big difference. Our bed was okay, though smaller than at other mexican locations. Hot water came and went, and our ac/heat didn’t work, while the unit next door was fine.

The staff were very attentive to what we needed, and the whole property was impressively well maintained, from the rooms to the restaurant and pool. Highly recommend!

The hotel needs renovation, and the beds were just so-so. They do provide the basics, including room Wi-Fi, hot water, and breakfast.
