Gran Hotel Hacienda de la Noria

I usually don’t post reviews, but this was bad enough that I wanted people to know. The rooms are old and dirty, the bed is really uncomfortable, and the customer service is the worst. There are plenty of other options, and I’ll never stay here again.

Getting around is easy since the hotel is near the 2nd ring. The customer service is good, and it’s a nice old hotel, but the rooms are dated and the air conditioner doesn’t work, only the fan does. On weekends, weddings and other events bring music at night, which made it very hard to sleep. Sometimes they rent out the restaurant’s outside area, so customers have to sit inside instead.

We came for a wedding reception and were really happy for the newlyweds to celebrate in such a beautiful setting. The garden was lovely, and the atmosphere and staff service were great.

One of my favorite places in Aguascalientes for a reason: the location is perfect, and there’s plenty to admire. The brook and gardens are right outside the rooms, the stained glass is amazing, and it feels fresh even in the warmest months. Every room has a lovely view from its terrace or balcony. The aged, classy hotel has so much to discover, and the service, amenities, food, and drinks are all just right. It’s a relaxing choice in the "La Salud" neighborhood, and a visit to the famous "La Salud" necropolis, where many famous "hidrocalidos" rest, is easy from here. It also works well for social or business events. Book ahead, especially during San Marco's Fair, when the rooms are simply all reserved.
