Green House Hostal - Hostel

The service was terrible, and they didn’t provide what they promised. The beds were uncomfortable, there was no toilet paper, and they even ran out of water and gas while I was there. I had to shower in fits and starts and listen to everyone else using the bathroom. Breakfast was a joke. Truly disappointing.

A very affordable place that’s well suited to backpacking. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. The beds could be better, but at this price it’s not a big issue. There are private and shared rooms, plus a spacious bathroom.

Payment was a problem right away because they don’t accept cards. The advertised continental breakfast wasn’t provided, and apparently nobody was at reception in the morning while several people waited. At checkout, after half an hour in a common area charging my phone, they told me to leave or pay for another day. I wasn’t using the room or any other facilities, just that shared space.

It’s an affordable place near downtown Aguascalientes, and I’d planned to stay there. But when I arrived on December 6th at 10:00 a.m., nobody answered the door or phone. I spent over an hour knocking and calling, and the neighbor next door said they’d left quite a while ago. I had to find somewhere else that day. I’ll try staying with you on my next visit.
