Hotel Posada Jardin Aguascalientes

It had just what I needed: a hot shower and air conditioning in the bedrooms. The location is very nice, and it's surrounded by easy commuting options and great places to eat.

I was there for four days and generally had a good stay. The reception and cleaning staff were friendly the whole time, and the hot water worked. Some rooms have balconies where you can smoke. My one real frustration was the internet: on the third floor I could see all four networks, but none of them let me use anything on my phones. I ended up paying for data packages, money that could have gone toward another night. The room rate at reception was $470. The TV was pretty small, so I could barely make out the screen, haha. It only had streaming, no cable. Still, the place felt worth it.

The location is really good, but the price feels far too high for what you get. Rooms are tiny, and there are no complimentary services. They ask for a deposit if you want to use the air conditioning, and getting any rest is difficult because there's so much noise in the early morning.

For $450 for a one-bed room, I thought it was good value. It's a basic place, handy for a few nights when all you need is somewhere to rest, and it's close to the city center. There's parking, and nearby you'll find an avenue with a shop and a bakery. They take credit cards without an extra fee, and VAT is charged. Rooms are small, with private bathrooms, hot water, and TVs. The internet works well when there aren't many guests, but starts acting up when the hotel gets busier.
