On my third stay here, I again had a wonderful visit. I like the location, the quiet atmosphere, and the friendly staff. The hotel, pool, and bar area are always clean. A few things could be better: facial tissues are usually available in hotel bathrooms, small fridges are convenient for guests, and the Wi-Fi can be spotty. They might consider fiber optic service.

The place is beautiful, pleasant, and peaceful, and would be great for relaxing. Still, for a Hotel Boutique I expected a restaurant or at least basic kitchen utensils so I could prepare food in my room. I also expected more attentive staff. It’s advertised as pet friendly, but they charge $500 per pet per night, and I’m left wondering whether they’d look after my pet during my stay.

The grounds are amazing, and the poolside bar is great, but the service was awful and what was promised didn’t match reality. On Sundays the bar is closed, and they can’t even serve you a beer. I won’t return, especially after overpaying for a room advertised with a “private pool and terrace.” It was on the ground floor, with hallway access and two open entrances about 4 feet long on either side of the terrace. There was no door and no privacy, so we had no real intimacy to enjoy that area. You’d be better off paying a bit more for a proper boutique hotel. There’s potential here, but don’t underestimate a customer trying to help a community of travelers. Also, if breakfast is just coffee, 10 small pieces of fruit, and a third of a cup of yogurt for two people, don’t advertise it as “BREAKFAST INCLUDED.” It wasn’t even a proper continental breakfast. And if you charge for breakfast, make it worthwhile. The cold, wet tortillas and spoonful of dry “frijoles de lata” they called chilaquiles felt like a trick: I paid for breakfast, lost my morning brunch, and got meals that looked like leftovers. If you charge extra for juice, please serve it freshly squeezed.

The suites were spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed. Staff were eager to help and really helpful. I’d stay again, though the roosters do start crowing early in the morning! ❤️

After the massages, you feel so relaxed that all that’s left is to enjoy the magnificent view and rest.
