The garden and pool are a quiet retreat, and we loved sitting by the outdoor fireplace beside the pool in the evening. The rooms are charming and comfortable, each named after one of María Félix's movies. Service was kind and welcoming, and we felt cared for and inspired. Hotel Casa María Félix feels like stepping into the world of La Doña. The beautifully restored historic home seems filled with the spirit of María Félix, Mexico's most iconic Golden Age film star. Her presence comes through in the ornate details, artful decor, and unapologetic glamour throughout. A lovely choice for anyone drawn to history, culture, and beauty in a luxurious setting.

The museum was nice, especially for my wife, who's a fan. The town and area around the museum/hotel are very pretty, with upscale restaurants and cafes. A lovely place.

It's worth a visit, and the price is reasonable. The museum is small but has many beautiful objects that belonged to Doña María. There's a garden, and portraits, photos, and drawings of her throughout. The staff are friendly and happy to answer questions about her life.

The location was great and the rooms were nice, with romantic indirect lighting. There's a restaurant if you ask in advance. We were arriving from far away, and they waited for us. They were friendly both on WhatsApp and in person, and changed our room without any trouble. I thought it was perfect.
