Hotel Posada del Balsas

I left my new leather jacket behind, and the staff got in touch, kept it safe, and returned it to me. The room was roomy, spotless, and decorated so nicely that it looked great in photos. I'll be back.

The restaurant staff were so welcoming and quick, and the service was excellent!!! ☺️

We'd already stayed there for 7 days straight, but one night we came back late and they wouldn't let us in.

The restaurant service was poor too. It took a long time to get served, and they didn't have this or that. There seemed to be just one cook for a lot of people. The girls told us not to come back, so we won't, and we won't recommend it either. There are cheaper hotels with better service. I had to say it, and I did. My sister and I were going back, and they unfairly accused us of burning a blanket. I think it was payback for my earlier comment. The blanket was old and more torn, and we never bring clothes to iron or iron them at home, but that's what they accused us of. There's also a lot of noise at night from cars and motorcycles, and in the morning the staff are like macaws, making noise right in front of the rooms and not letting you sleep. The place is comfortable only because it's central, but there's a lot of noise, as you'll find out. We were there a few days ago, and my husband went to complain, whether they liked it or not. They leave only half a roll of the cheapest toilet paper, the kind that's gone after a couple of trips to the bathroom. It really happened: around midnight my husband needed to go, but there was no paper, so he had to wash with the same water from the toilet and ended up taking a bath. Then around 3 am I went and there was no paper for me either. I took off my underwear to clean myself with it, washed it, and put it back on wet. I was already on my way back from my trip, so that's the truth, and God knows everything. To make matters worse, someone came in from the street that night. We bathed, and the towels were left wet, so in the morning we had to bathe again using those same towels. That was what we complained about, but when I went looking for them, they weren't there, and they took offense at the complaint. Is it really so hard to provide more toilet paper 🧻? For the price they charge, they should at least pay attention to that.
