The room was the highlight for me: soft pillows, a warm duvet that was great in the cold, rainy weather, and a little fan whose usefulness in hot weather I can't say for sure. There were cups, coffee, tea, water, and a kettle, enough for two. The bathroom was roomy, bright, and well ventilated, with fluffy towels and toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and body lotion. The water got very hot, despite what I’d read in other reviews. Service really stood out. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and helpful, and the small, almost boutique-like hotel had a homey feel. It looks new, with lovely minimalist decor and a nice scent in the air. There are stairs and an elevator, plus a small but useful gym. The parking area is small, though it seemed sufficient even when full during my stay. Breakfast was included, simple but welcome, with coffee, fruit, and a choice of main dishes. I had chilaquiles, eggs, omelets, and molletes there, and everything was delicious. The menu is tasty, affordable, and generously portioned too. Five stars doesn't really cover it. I hope more people find this hidden gem in Atlacomulco.
