We stayed for four days starting Jun 4th. Bella was cleaning our room when we arrived at 2pm, an hour before check-in, and asked us to pay a full day of the eco-friendly tax. She asked for more than the official tax amount, so be careful. The place is beautiful, but asking for extra money was dishonest. There didn’t seem to be any administration or responsible person there.

The house had everything we needed for cooking, even an oven, and we liked how little road noise reached it. The neighboring hotel’s music, though, started at 7:00 a.m., which we hadn’t expected. We couldn’t make use of the canoes because there was only one half-sized double paddle for the two of them. The dock hammocks seem to have been taken down, with just the ropes left, so we were glad we brought our own. The swing in the photos was also out of reach: the water was about 40 cm higher and nobody seemed able to raise its ropes. Still, we had a nice stay in this lovely little house by the lake.

The place is quite comfortable and otherwise good, but the maintenance needs attention. The dock table is badly rusted and unusable, and seems dangerous to anyone nearby. There aren’t any hammocks either. They lend out kayaks, but there was only one, with half a paddle, and the life jackets were so useless we didn’t want to use them. That’s why I couldn’t give it five stars.
