The family were so kind and helpful that it was a pleasure staying with them. They even helped us after we lost our backpack in a taxi. Such a lovely stay!

We had everything we needed in the room, and the kitchen was great. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s some distance from the lagoon, though taxis are easy to find and you can rent bikes. We really enjoyed staying at Casa Coral, and the owners are lovely and incredibly helpful. We’d definitely recommend it.

The family who run this beautiful home are so friendly and kind. Even with my bad Spanish, they went out of their way to help me with several things. The room is spacious, with good hot water and strong WiFi, and the house is lovely. It’s in a quiet part of town, about a 30-minute walk from the centre. Bikes are available for 100 pesos a day, or taxis cost 30-50 each way. I’d strongly recommend it.

We were travelling by car and found this cozy place just outside Bacalar. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, even helping us order food when my husband was sick. The shared kitchen is kept very tidy, and the garden is peaceful. Each room has its own table outside, great for morning coffee or food made in the kitchen. The hosts were so kind and endearing, I can’t say enough about them.

It’s on a quiet street, just a 5-10 minute bike ride from the centre. They lend bikes for free, and the shared kitchen has everything you need. Our room was very clean and the AC worked perfectly. The owners were incredibly nice and did so much to make our stay perfect. Easily our best stay in Bacalar. 100% recommended!
