Awful and far too expensive for how dirty it was. I had to get a broom and soap myself to clean the bathroom. The facilities, hallways and gardens were filthy. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Horrible.

It's the kind of hotel you return to after a day of touring to shower and sleep. The pool was clean, which was a plus. The location is somewhat remote, though the taxi ride from the city center is affordable.

My family and I needed somewhere to stay for one night. We got to Bacalar at around 11 p.m., but there was nobody at Dana Hotel when we arrived, so we couldn't even ask whether there were rooms available. From outside, the hotel looks very nice.

Everything was great. They could add a mat outside the bathroom, since the floor gets wet when you step out of the shower, and provide one more pillow per bed. :)

The whole hotel is filthy. Some rooms smell like sewage, several have no TV, there's no Wi-Fi, and there's no manager around most of the time. I absolutely don't recommend it!
