Villas Chital Bacalar

I stayed for six weeks starting in January, and the place was peaceful, with a pool and hammocks. You might get a bike too, though I didn't. Still, I wouldn't recommend staying here because the organization was so poor. The kitchen was part of the price, but I had no stove for the first week. The sink was clogged from the day I moved in, and they didn't address it until I'd complained for four weeks. The included internet didn't work at all, and the owner stopped answering my messages after I paid the rent. There was no warm water in the shower, and they refused to give me a second set of sheets, so I couldn't wash mine for six weeks. Lights stayed on all night in the apartment complex, and the thin curtains let in so much artificial light that I had trouble sleeping. Neighbors were given different prices, and there was no official contract. I wish I had more positive things to say.

It's a peaceful location, and the rooms are roomy with very comfortable beds. There aren't shops or restaurants close by, but grocery stores and places to eat are only a short drive away.

The room was large and had a fridge, stove, and basic kitchen utensils. The air conditioning cooled well, and the beds were super comfortable. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked clean. The place is cheap, and they bill almost instantly. Recommended.
