Los Vientos Hotel

The restaurant food was great and reasonably priced, and the bar had a really good vibe. Rooms were clean, and they have a good boat to charter. It’s the best option in BOLA, though some rooms have older bathrooms and drains that don’t work well. Hope they get those fixed.

The room is basic, but it’s the best available in town, so you end up putting up with it. The cleaning staff was a mess: the room wasn’t cleaned for three days, and things generally weren’t clean. Front desk and restaurant customer service, on the other hand, was outstanding.

We come back a few times each year and wouldn’t choose anywhere else in the area. The beds are comfortable, the hot water and AC have been reliable, and the food is delicious. The hotel is right on the beach, and the owner and staff have always been very accommodating.

After a long day of driving, the beachfront room was just what we needed. We were there in mid-December and were the boot guests in the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, the beds comfortable, and the shower had hot water. Staff were helpful and pleasant. We had good hot coffee at the restaurant in the morning, then got back on the road to San Diego.
