Bungalows Princess

Princess rocks. This has to be a hidden gem in the whole bay of Banderas, right on the oceanfront. You can watch the guys catch oysters just out in front, and walk over to La Cruz to buy fish caught that same day. Don't pay attention to all the smoke about the rooms and that mess, this isn't fine dining. Get out, explore, and have fun.

I paid very little because we got a great deal, which is why I'm giving it two stars. I wouldn't recommend paying decent money to stay here. We had a standard room, so maybe the villas are better, but our bed felt like plywood, the pillows were awful, and the bedding was stained. There was no coffee maker, and the TV only had one English channel. We didn't have Wi-Fi in the room, which wasn't a huge deal. The location wasn't great either, and the restaurant and bar hours weren't good. Whenever the people next door showered, our room filled with a sewage smell. I've never left a review before, especially a bad one, but people should know what to expect. At the regular price, I would've been very upset.

We had direct access to a clean beach without big or rough waves, which was perfect for our family. The bungalow was clean, had A/C, and came with everything you might need for the kitchen. The rooms were clean too, with extra pillows and blankets available. The bathroom was roomy, with the shower, toilet, and sink outside of the bathroom area. The front desk was very nice.

The food was really good 😊. Our rooms were clean and the view was great, but the pool and slides need maintenance. The tiles in the pool injured our kids, and there was so much bleach in the water that we couldn't stay there long.
